Can you have a fire near a shelter
How close to my shelter can I have a fire?

You can easily have a fire immediately in front of a shelter.
If the shelter has a straight roof (roof with one-sided slope to the rear), you can also often have the fire inside the roof eaves and thus have a fire in dry weather. Naturally, the size of the fire must be adjusted so that there is no risk of setting fire to the shelter itself. If, on the other hand, you have a shelter with a saddle roof ("broken roof"), then you should not have a fire in front of the shelter, as the smoke can drift into the shelters and the fire will often be too close to the roof.
Campfire cabin with shelter
Some campfire cabins also have an extension in the form of a shelter. With a campfire cabin with a shelter, you can really do a myriad of activities regardless of weather and wind. It is naturally larger and takes up a bit more space. On the other hand, you can always stand in dry weather and have a fire and shelter in the same place. It is one of the best outdoor gathering places to enjoy and spend the night in the summer.
