In the spring of 2016, we developed this shelter, which differs in appearance and function from our other products.

The roof, which curves to each side, with inspiration from the American barns, provides minimal external dimensions, but maximum utilization of the space under the roof.

With fewer straight lines than on traditional products, turf on the roof and squid boards on the walls, this type of 16 shelter will blend in very well with nature.

Contrary to many other cabins, where the seating in the front is part of the floor area itself and thus the sleeping pads, in this type 16 there is a clear division between seating and floor space / sleeping space.

In the standard version, there is a wide continuous bench at the front. Here, in dry weather, you can sit under the 1.2 meter large overhang, with a clear separation to the slightly more "cave-like" room of 3.5 meters in width and 2.2 meters in depth, inside the shelter itself, where there is fine sleeping space for 6 - 7 people.

Shelves on the sides, inside the bedroom, where sleeping bags and luggage can be placed, are an additional finesse that gives high utility value in this shelter.

An additional feature, specially developed for this model, is the built-in table of 75 x 235 cm (additional purchase). When folded down, the table is level with the floor and forms a front with the benches. In a few seconds, the table is raised from floor height to normal table height, where it is locked and provides perfect opportunities for eating and cozying up in all kinds of weather. The table can be locked with a padlock in both positions.

We offer this model as a construction kit. The building kit, which is for you who can and want to do it yourself (and have the "tools in order"), contains them all the materials included in the construction.
