The largest and strongest model of shelters in squid boards, with widths of 3.5 to 5 metres, and with standing height and 1.4 m overhang at the front.

Particularly suitable in public areas or in places with many overnight guests.

The straight roof, with a one-sided drop on the roof to the rear, and a large overhang of 1.4 meters at the front, provides great opportunities for standing height under the overhang and lighting a fire in shelter from the rain. See the model with gable roof .

Can be supplied with either roofing felt or grass roof.

Delivered as a building kit, where all timber is cut to size and all boards come in raw lengths. All materials are included.

The building kit for a large squid shelter is only for the experienced do-it-yourselfer or craftsman.

Construction:

  • Fixed floor in boards, raised 40 – 50 cm above the ground. The size inside is as standard 2.5 meters in depth and in widths of 3.5 - 4.0 - 4.5 or 5.0 meters.
  • Walls made as a strong skeleton construction, with a covering in 23 mm kalmar boards in larch, mounted vertically one on two.
  • Roof with one-sided slope to the rear and with a large overhang of 1.4 meters at the front, which provides good standing height under the overhang and a fire in dry weather. The roof is made with roof boards and is offered either with welded-on roofing felt or a grass roof.
  • In a building kit, all timber is cut to size and all boards are delivered in raw lengths. All materials are included.
