This 8-sided campfire is the most popular of our 8-sided campfires.

A nice and spacious campfire cabin, in a really versatile size for use in all kinds of weather.

Solid construction with free-standing rafters, 22 degree roof pitch and roofing felt shingles, completes the overall impression of this campfire cabin.

Relatively much wall space and thus the possibility of many seats with permanently mounted benches on the walls and good use of space with a fire pit in the middle.

A really popular addition is one or more built-on shelters and or one or more built-on extensions.

One or more shelters make it possible to stay overnight in all kinds of weather and a built-on extension makes it possible to store e.g. kitchenware, furniture, etc.

Another obvious addition is windows all around, ensuring both a view and lovely light inside – without wind and drafts inside the fire cabin.

Construction

  • Strong 8 angular posts on cast point foundations, as well as a large roof overhang, ensure a very long life.
  • All wood, except roof boards, in Danish larch wood, cut at our own sawmill.
  • The construction timber is visually graded for strength in accordance with DS/EN14081-1.
  • Engineering calculations have been prepared for all campfires, for use in building applications.
  • Side cladding in boards or squid boards, in full or half height as desired.
  • Fixed benches inside along walls, as desired.
  • Strong roof construction with visible and free-supporting rafters.
  • Take in boards with tongue and groove with black roofing felt shingles, smoke hole with smoke cap, as desired.
