Build yourself or ready-made:

Built-in table:

Full timber shelter, with the right full timber look and with butt joints (see pictures) in the corner joints. These butt joints can be produced significantly cheaper than the traditional and labor-intensive knot joints ( model F1 ), which results in the very attractive prices of these models.

Trunks in hand-forested and hand-barked red spruce ensure longevity. Choose between two different roof designs, both with turf on the roof:

Straight roof , which allows standing height and a fire in dry weather under the roof in the front, all the water from the roof runs to the back and ensures that the space in front is always dry.

Gable roof , where the roof "breaks with the roof ridge", provides more "cave-like" shelter and better protection from wind and weather

Choose between widths from 2.5 to 5.0 meters inside and between ready-made or delivered as a kit. In assembly sets, all the wood, except for the floor and roof boards, is finished and ready for assembly. All of them materials included. Before the experienced do-it-yourselfer or craftsman.

Construction:

  • Fixed floor in boards, raised approx. 45 cm above the ground. The size inside 2.5 meters in depth and widths of 2.5-3.0-3.5-4.0-4.5 and 5.0 m.
  • As a plinth, round trunk pieces are used as standard, set on top of concrete tiles.
  • The beams are red spruce cut on two surfaces and the inner side. The height is 15 cm and the width approx. 18 cm. Special butt joints in the corners, where the beams butt against each other, and are screwed together with special screws that are not visible either from the inside or the outside.
  • Design of the front is with "arch" or "step" as desired. In assembly sets, the front is cut in "steps" and a straight line in the front.
  • Choose between the right roof, i.e. a roof with a slope to the rear or with a gable roof, where the roof "breaks" over the entrance.
  • Both models have a large overhang of 1.4 meters at the front.
  • The roof is made of 22 mm planed boards with tongue and groove and a strong rubber sheet as a base for the grass roof itself.

At Shelterbyg, we make tailor-made shelters and fire cabins to order. We start production of your new shelter once you have placed your order and we have received payment. Unless otherwise agreed.

Please note that our solid log shelters are not available from June to October as there is no felling and preparation of solid logs during this period.
