Solid and well-thought-out toilet intended for placement above a dug hole in the ground or above a buried collection tank. The ground plan is 1.2 x 1.2 m and the height approx. 2.35 m. Ideal solution for shelter sites, forest nurseries etc. places.

The mud toilet is made with full-edged boards as standard. If you want squid boards, this must be stated in the notes when ordering in the webshop. It costs DKK 500 more.

The dirt toilet can be delivered as a complete assembly set in 6 parts. In an assembly set, the base, side and rear wall are delivered fully assembled. The front is fully assembled with a mounted door, the roof is delivered fully assembled with welded-on roofing felt. Including toilet box with fitted toilet seat. It requires some craft experience to build the mud toilet.

Construction:

  • 4 buried concrete point foundations. 6 mm eternit sheets as cover against soil.
  • Ground plan 1.2 x 1.2 m, height 2.35 m. All wood in untreated Danish larch (roof and floor boards in spruce).
  • Skeleton construction in 50 x 50 / 50 x 100 mm rules. Vertical cladding in 18 mm boards, or 18 x 150 mm boards, mounted 1 on 2.
  • Roof slope 10 degrees, roof with a layer of black roofing felt and aluminum roof base welded on. 22 x 115 mm roof boards with tongue and groove in spruce / pine. No gutters.
  • Window over door with plexiglass. Venting from the tank / hole is carried over the roof with a rotating fan. Toilet box made of smooth plywood with fitted seat / flap.
  • In its basic design, the toilet is intended for installation over a dug hole in the ground. At an additional cost, the toilet can be supplied with a collection tank of 1200 litres.
