Size (Width)
You can choose between different widths for the shelter, depending on how many people you want to accommodate. Although the size of the shelter varies, both its depth and overhang remain unchanged.
The original architect designed the shelter, type 7.1, which is part of the Norwegian Nature Agency's sample collection.
Implemented details, where utility, longevity and design come together in a higher unity.
For example, the floorboards on the sides and in the front, which are made of larch wood, are not connected to the floorboards inside the shelter (planed boards), and thus prevent penetrating driving rain from penetrating the floorboards.
With seating on both sides as well as the front, there is thus plenty of opportunity to enjoy the morning sun or sunset, or just a cup of coffee on the reading side.
Choose between the original model, where the roof and floor are vertically above each other, or the 7.2 model , which offers greater opportunity to sit in dry weather in the front.
We offer this shelter either fully assembled ready for use, or as an assembly kit, where all the timber and the external boards have been cut to size and the gables have been assembled. Floor and ceiling boards are supplied in raw lengths and shortened after assembly. All necessary materials are included. The assembly kit is only for the experienced do-it-yourselfer / craftsman. Can be built in one day by 2 experienced carpenters.
